MCAP originates investment opportunities in listed and unlisted equities. Depending on the situation, this may take the form of a strategic stake, majority control or full ownership of an investee company. Whilst each situation is unique, MCAP will seek to be closely involved with the companies it invests in and will actively seek to enhance the value of its investments though operational improvements, financial restructuring and/or industry consolidation.

MCAP seeks investment opportunities that are typically expected to be realised within two to four years of inception.

MCAP is able to leverage the distribution capabilities of Mariner Financial, and works with stockbrokers and other independent firms to distribute its investment opportunities and funds.
